The Board of Directors of Sunway REIT Management Sdn Bhd, the Manager of SUNREIT wishes to announce that AREM has been appointed as the new Property Manager of SUNREIT with effect from 1st July 2014 till present date.
REGISTRATION
As a professional firm involved in providing property consultancy services to external clients, we are required to be registered with The Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia. As such, we are bound by the Rules & Guidelines and Code of Conduct & Ethics set by the Board to ensure that professional service is provided to our Clients and that our Clients' interests are maintained.

Besides knowledge of professional practices, property consultants must be equipped with knowledge of the local industry. This would include service contractors in the various industries, the market rates of different types of services and local suppliers. PROFESSIONAL INDEMNITY
We have placed the clients risk management issue as an essential aspect in our business. Therefore it is essential that property consultants to be covered by professional indemnity insurance, and to this end we are adequately insured, to ensure that our Client is free from any risks involved.
INDEPENDENCE
It goes without saying that the best interest of the Client should be maintained at all times and this can only be achieved through an independent property consultant. We have ensured that in Property Management, property managers should have no business relation with any Council member or the Developer and the property manager should act as a consultant as opposed to a contractor. To this end, there should be no vested interest in appointing any service contractors and suppliers, in order to ensure that the property manager is impartial. In Real Estate, all our agents are trained to be independent negotiator and to place fair price of the properties in the market. In Property Valuation, the same practice was held by the Valuers. The value of the properties are determined by professional independent methods to maintain our integrity in all our dealings.
ACCOUNTABILITY AND TRANSPARENCY
It is of paramount importance that property consultant is accountable and provides the required level of transparency to its client and to the Purchasers of a development. To this end, as a professional property consultant, we ensure that all accounting matters held by us are audited annually by appointed independent professional auditors. We use Online Accounting software to ensure all transactions are reported on real time basis to ensure transparency which is also in accordance with GST guidelines. At Arem (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, we emphasize on quality and accountability for all our services. Especially in Property Management. We exercise performance-based panelship module to ensure the best services are rendered to our clients in all aspects. We also have maintained good Standard of Operations for all 3 sectors ie Property Valuation, Property Management and Real Estate. This is to ensure the up keeping of our Accountability and Transparency.
COLLECTION
Maintaining a good collection track record is of paramount importance in order to provide an efficient and affective property consultants' services to any property with a clear distinction between the role of the Developer and property consultant. This will assist in the achieving of the targeted collection. As for Real Estate we are maintaining a secured Client's Account to deposit in all the Earnest Deposits.
ECONOMIES OF SCALE
The importance of suitable resources in property consultancy cannot be underestimated as it is important to have resources that are acceptable in terms of quality and reliability. The nature of property consultancy involves data retrieval, data manipulation and data storage. It is, therefore, a must for the property consultant to have a good and reliable information system in place to perform those tasks at any given time. These resources include technical staff, accounts, credit control, property management systems, real estate management system and valuation system and others such as operational requirements, all are geared towards ensuring that your value of the properties are optimized. This would also eliminate excessive setting-up costs should you intend to manage the property as your own.
RESPONSE MECHANISM
To deal with queries and feedbacks from the clients, the property consultant should be equipped with a response mechanism. As part of our "customer-first" philosophy, we have a dedicated customer service department and helpdesk to provide a "one-stop" centre for any queries or feedbacks of our residents or Purchasers may have.
